![]() Players have long believed that Bungie would eventually merge the two games by giving players extra patrol areas, more Crucible maps, more raids, and more gear to collect. ![]() Bungie may one day want to call upon those visuals for reference and they likely don’t take up much space by comparison.īut the greater theory is that these files are in place to help Bungie eventually add Destiny 1 content to Destiny 2. It’s reasonable to believe that Destiny 2 contains both the Dreadnaught landing screen and the Taken King theme music somewhere in its files. We were unable to trigger anything of the sort, though, but there is plenty of video evidence to suggest this is not some clever fake. Several Destiny 2 players have noted the visual bug and they say it can be replicated if players join a teammate in the middle of a mission on Titan. Rather than hearing the landing music for Titan and seeing the blue moon, players instead hear the Taken King theme music and see Saturn before the game loads. One of the latest involves an audio cue and visual glitch when players join a friend on Titan, one of Destiny 2’s destinations. Oftentimes those bugs are unintentional and developer Bungie works quickly to fix them, but occasionally they lead to some pretty involved conspiracy theories. With a game as big as Destiny 2 there are bound to be some issues, be they glitches, bugs, or all around weirdness. ![]()
